Ladies and gentlemen, it’s playoff time! This is what you work for. All of that offseason research, film study, and hours of mock drafting is all for these next three weeks right here. Bye weeks are officially over, meaning barring injury, you should have your complete squad revved up and ready to roll this coming weekend. If you have earned a bye, please allow me to congratulate you on a truly remarkable regular season. If you find yourself in that position, I highly recommend that you look ahead to defensive matchups in week 16 and get out ahead of streaming a defense as you await for your opponent. However, assuming you are not one of the lucky few who are able to bypass the first round of playoffs, take a look at these two players to consider adding going into week 15.

Jaylen Wright injury update: Dolphins RB expected to miss multiple weeks after undergoing procedure on his leg - CBS Sports

Jaylen Wright

I will be the first one to say that I would be very surprised if Dolphins workhorse RB De’Von Achane is unable to go in Monday night’s matchup against the Steelers. However, just the fact that he’s banged up and there’s a chance that he might miss that contest, makes it a 100% necessity to add Wright to your team, ESPECIALLY if you are an Achane owner. Following Achane’s absence on Sunday, Wright ran for 107 yards and a TD on a whopping 24 carries. That type of workload signals that it doesn’t matter who is placed back there, the Dolphins intend to and will run the ball. Even if Achane ends up playing this week like we expect him to, hanging onto Wright as a handcuff is a necessity. Achane is dealing with a rib injury, and all it takes is one big hit to completely reaggravate it. Obviously we’re not implying you should root for injuries at all. But that would result in a situation where Wright would be put in a prime position to become a league winner. Wright is a must add going into this week!

Bengals Designate Mike Gesicki For Return

Mike Gesicki

One of the main beneficiaries of Joe Burrow’s return to the Bengals offense, Gesicki turned in by far his best performance of the fantasy season. He caught all 6 of his targets for 86 yards and a TD despite the weather being less than ideal in Buffalo this past weekend. Furthermore, Bengals WR Tee Higgins, who turned in one of his best performances of the fantasy season as well on Sunday, is currently in concussion protocol and may not play this upcoming weekend against the Ravens. This would open up even more targets to go around, some that would undoubtedly go in Gesicki’s direction. If you still find yourself struggling at the volatile tight end position, consider giving Gesicki a look going into this weekend.
