Four weeks to go! The pressure is ramping up. Lines are being drawn in the sand. Contenders are being separated from pretenders. You have only four weeks left to secure your spot in the fantasy playoffs. What kind of push are you able to make? Do you need to add a player via trade? Or are you able to get by making the type of “in the margin” moves that you’ve made all year by working the waiver wire to the best of your ability. Let’s take a look at two players to consider adding ahead of week 11.

Former Penn State WR Parker Washington sets Jaguars' punt return record with 96-yard TD - Yahoo Sports

Parker Washington

I have a good friend of mine who drafted Brian Thomas Jr. at the top of the second round. In that same league, I have a buddy who drafted Travis Hunter in the fifth round. Going into the season, I would constantly joke with them that Parker Washington was going to overtake both of them as the Jaguars’ WR1. Heading into week 11, I think I may have somehow spoken that into existence. Over the course of the Jaguars’ previous three games, Washington has averaged just under 9 targets per game. He’s averaged over 12 fantasy PPG in half-PPR formats and has truly turned into one of QB Trevor Lawrence’s absolute favorite targets. With Travis Hunter out for the foreseeable future, combined with Thomas’s injury and overall lack of interest in playing football, the Jags have and will continue to rely on a combination of Washington and newly acquired Jakobi Meyers to carry the bulk of the receiving work. If you find yourself with an open roster spot, consider adding Parker Washington to fill that void.

Cade Otton having league-best stretch for Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Cade Otton

As per usual, the TE market isn’t exactly plentiful. It does appear as though there are more solid options compared to years past, but it’s likely that if you find yourself in a league larger than 8 teams, there are several who have had a revolving door at the TE position all year long (I speak from experience). In Tampa Bay, with Mike Evans out possibly the season, and Chris Godwin still having no clear timetable as to when he might return, Baker Mayfield has to throw the ball to somebody. As amazing as rookie receiver Emeka Egbuka has been, he simply cannot command every single target. In Sunday’s loss to the Patriots, we finally found out who Baker’s other go-to guy will be. Cade Otton was targeted a whopping 12 times, catching 9 of those for 82 yards. If you find yourself in a league with any type of TE premium, then that’s just an added bonus. But even if not, that kind of scoring jolt from a TE is very hard to ignore. I’d go as far as saying unless you have one of the elite TEs in the game (Bowers, McBride, Warren, Kittle, etc.) don’t be afraid to add and start Otton going into week 11 against Buffalo.
