Two weeks ladies and (mostly) gentlemen. For a majority of fantasy leagues, you have two weeks to secure your playoff spot if you haven’t already. You have two weeks to ensure that you’re not the person standing on a corner in a stupid hat, short shorts, and a shirt that says “I suck at Fantasy Football!” With no byes this week due to Thanksgiving, there truly are no excuses. However, if you still find yourself struggling to field a respectable lineup, consider adding one or both of these guys to give your team a boost this coming weekend.

From practice squad to prime time: Andrei Iosivas '23 earns his stripes in the NFL - The Princetonian

Andre Iosivas

While Iosivas certainly didn’t light up the fantasy stat sheet in week 12 against the Patriots, he did turn in a serviceable performance with 4 receptions on 7 targets for 61 yards. Now, this performance did come while superstar receiver Ja’marr Chase was serving his one game suspension for spitting on Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey. However, Iosivas will once again get the opportunity to serve as the Bengals WR2 due to Tee Higgins’ concussion which he suffered while hitting his head hard on the turf as he was attempting to make a contested catch late in Sunday’s contest. He has already been ruled out for Thursday night’s matchup against the Ravens. Thus giving Iosivas another prime opportunity. The theme for the Bengals all year long has been simple. Their defense is one of, if not, the absolute worst in the entire league. Thus, they need to score in bunches. Since Joe Flacco took over for Jake Browning in week 6, the offense has had games where they display incredible flashes. Don’t be surprised to see the Bengals’ offense have a big night on Thursday.

John Metchie already looking like a Jets bright spot after another touchdown - Yahoo Sports

John Metchie III

It’s not very often that I, or anyone for that matter, should get too excited about a Jets’ receiver. However, in a world where top receiver Garrett Wilson is on IR, and Justin Fields has been rightfully benched in favor of Tyrod Taylor, Metchie has taken over as the top pass catching option in this offense. He has reached double digit fantasy points and found the end zone in each of the past two weeks. With Tyrod Taylor at the helm, while far from dominant, this Jets’ offense has very suddenly become serviceable. Being able to snag a WR1 from a serviceable offense off of the waiver wire just weeks before the fantasy playoffs is something that no one should be passing up. I might even go as far as saying Metchie is a must add for any squad with even the slightest need at receiver. Add him, and reap the rewards.
